Meet the Team

Mark has served as President and CEO of GuideStream since 2003. In this role, Mark is responsible for long term strategies, team members, board relationships, day to day operations and results. Mark holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Spring Arbor University in Business Administration. His community involvement includes chairing the Henry Ford Health Systems board investment sub-committee in Detroit, Michigan, and serving as a board member at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. Mark holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. Mark is committed to his faith and family and resides in Spring Arbor, Michigan.

Kirk is Vice President of Financial Planning and has served in this role since 2004. He works with clients to develop effective financial plans to meet their planning, investing, and giving goals in all stages of life. Kirk is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He also graduated from the College for Financial Planning with a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning degree. Kirk is a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.  He lives in Jackson, Michigan, with his wife Jeanine and is a licensed captain with the U.S. Coast Guard and an adjunct professor at Spring Arbor University.

Scott has been a Financial Adviser with our clients since 2009.  He provides comprehensive financial planning to help clients plan their lives according to their definition of success. He graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Business Administration and is a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®).  He and his wife, Bobbie, have 4 children and reside in Jackson, Michigan.  His favorite pastimes are cooking and writing.

Levi joined our team in June of 2024. His role as a financial coach is to empower clients to achieve their financial goals. He works closely with our Vice President of Financial Planning, Kirk Hoffman, as well as the entire planning team. Levi was inspired to become a financial adviser when his church went bankrupt while he was in middle school. He strives to provide financial peace and wellbeing to all his clients. Levi graduated from Spring Arbor University (SAU) with a BS degree in Financial Planning. At SAU, Levi was a bass guitarist in the chapel band, and a captain of the track and field team for 3 years. He currently resides in Jackson, Michigan, and is an assistant sprint coach for the Spring Arbor University track and field team. Levi is a tea connoisseur, loves to run, and go on adventures with his fiancee, Nicole.

Ridge has served as a Financial Adviser since 2022. He is deeply guided by his relationship with Jesus Christ and passionate about the Biblical teachings about wealth and money. He desires to help others experience hope and peace in their financial lives and be the best stewards they can be for the Lord. Ridge graduated with honors from Spring Arbor University (SAU) with a degree in finance. At school he competed on the golf team and was involved as a student leader. He is currently on the SAU Alumni Board. Ridge resides in Marshall, Michigan, with his wife and their Cavelier King Charles Spaniel. He is active in various groups at church and serves on the board.

Caitlin joined our team in 2010 and is currently a Financial Adviser. She delights in giving clients the personal care and plan-directed expertise they deserve as they develop a financial plan. Caitlin graduated in 2008 with highest honors from Spring Arbor University. She is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) and a Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®).  She enjoys outdoor adventures, baking, and distance running. Caitlin has three children and resides in Tecumseh, Michigan. 

Lori is the Operations Manager for GuideStream and has been part of the team since 2014. She handles opening new GuideStream accounts and ensures compliance with existing financial regulations. Lori works closely with the operations team who all share a passion for caring for each client. She is a graduate of Spring Arbor University and lives with her musician husband Mike, Ziggy (dog), and Bella (cat), in Jackson, Michigan. She enjoys visiting Chicago to spend time with her daughter, McKenzie.

Dawn became part of our team in 2019. She graduated from Spring Arbor University, raised her family, and now serves as a Client Care Specialist. She processes distributions and helps with other client needs.  Dawn resides in Concord, Michigan, with her husband, Jim, and is happiest when she and her husband are together with their two adult children.
